Sin dai primi km la corsa è stata decisa da numerosi ventagli, che hanno portato i nostri atleti rimasti in gara (Bindi, Zagorodniy, Tomei e Grendene) a cercare di difendere l'onore del Team Lampre-Ngc.
La squadra ha preso il via oggi infatti orfana del precedente leader della classifica generale Loosli, costretto al ritiro dopo la sfortunata caduta di ieri che gli ha procurato una forte contusione al gomito destro alla quale si aggiunge lo schiacciamento del nervo radiale.
Al traguardo della sesta tappa gli atleti blu-fucsia sono giunti con il gruppo principale staccato di diversi minuti, per colpa dei ventagli che si son creati nel gruppo per il forte vento, e dal morale che era ormai sfumato con il ritiro di Loosli e la conseguente perdita della testa della classifica.
Da segnalare il ritiro di Bindi che è arrivato oltre il tempo massimo, comunque bravo a restare nelle prime fasi della corsa sulla testa del gruppo nei primi ventagli.

The protagonist of the day in Turkey was the strong wind.
